summary

over the past semester, and year i have made great progress with music tech. the files that i have uploaded i am extremely proud of and have poured all of my inspiration into. i have really learned how sytrus works well with other synths. i have experimented with piano type synths alot and really got a new way of making beats after viewing fl 10. On their youtube page i found a few lil wayne style beats. these influenced how i make my drums to have more of a bottom end bassy feel. i attempted my first real rap beat and way significantly impressed that i could accomplish such a task. then a few dubstep esk songs and now i'm not sure what to call what i'm in the process of making. i'm glad to say that i feel i improved and learned alot this year. with my purchase of fl studio software at home i was able to carry ideas over (other than not owning sytrus) to help me with my in class experience and writing abilities. i have definately enjoyed this year of music tech and hope to apply the skills i learned here, elsewhere in music. -ryder-
